WHO WE ARE

Saints Southwest is a leading Football and Sports Development organisation in the South West, operating as both a Ltd Company and not for profit Community Interest Company that delivers programmes in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset priding ourselves on being able to reach all children through various education, football and sporting activities. Alongside our community and school programmes, we provide a pathway that supports youth academies in nurturing and developing players to become the best they can be on and off the pitch.

We have proactive working relationships and partnerships with various professional football clubs, schools, local businesses, communities and more. Our partnership work is always based around shared principles, shared values, shared practice and maximising opportunities for all.

Yellow Star - represents our Community programmes and charitable work we do throughout the South West

Blue Star - represents our Education programmes and our commitment to education in the South West

Green Star - represents our Football Development programme and our passion and commitment to football development across the South West.

The 3 white/black stripes and the word SOUTHWEST represent the 3 counties Saints Southwest work in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset.

PASSION & BELIEF

Providing an opportunity to all young people to learn, develop and to be accountable on and off the pitch is our motivation to change the world for the better.

We are fortunate to be able to deliver many programmes from Community Engagement, Education, Mentoring and Football Development across the South West, currently reaching out to over 10,000 children across 700+ deliverable hours each week.

Our provision is split across 3 primary areas; COMMUNITY, EDUCATION, and FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT.

We create tailored environments where young people feel safe and welcome which then allows them to learn, think, explore and develop across a four-corner model of;

- Social - Psychological - Physical-Technical/Tactical

HOW WE DO

QUALITY ASSURANCE

SAFEGUARDING

&

Parents and Guardians want assurances that their children are being taught to the highest level. The Saints Southwest programme evolves through shared knowledge amongst qualified coaches and teaching professionals.

All staff are fully qualified, licensed and have enhanced CRB/DBS checks completed. Staff are regularly assessed and have to attend Continued Professional Development training 3 times per year. Saints Southwest pride themselves on excellent customer service standards and having the ability to tailor many services

Saints Southwest acknowledges and accepts it has a responsibility for the well-being and safety of all children and young people who are under the Saints Southwest care or using its facilities, (children and young people mean those under 18). It is the duty of all adults working in the Club to safeguard the welfare of children and young people by creating an environment that protects them from harm.
